Arrival in France

At Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle Airport, the station to Nancy is located on Terminal 2. Please follow the signs then . Don't follow the signs "Paris by train". Your destination is "Lorraine TGV". At "Lorraine TGV" (75mn), you'll find the shuttle that will take you to the station "Nancy Saint-Léon" (30 mn) where we will pick you up to take you to the Residence.

Select « NANCY » and not « LORRAINE TGV » when booking your train ticket. This way, the shuttle between Lorraine TGV and Nancy will be included. In case of a delay in the train schedule,no worries: there is a shuttle for every train arriving to Lorraine TGV, and only one destination without stop: Nancy. If you arrive at Beauvais-Tillé airport, there are several ways to reach Nancy : here The easiest and fastest way is to go to Gare de l’Est in Paris and take a direct train to Nancy.

Your arrival in Nancy

Our team will be on hand to greet you at the SNCF train station in Nancy in the Hall Saint Léon from Saturday June 29th to Sunday June 30th, from 10am to 9pm.You will be able to find us by following the signs posted on the arrival platforms in the station and our representatives will have your travel information. If you plan to arrive outside these hours or in another place (i.e. the Eurolines bus station), let us know in advance so that we can come and pick you up.

La gare de Nancy


During your stay, you will be in a residence hall near the university and the city center (see plan). You can choose between 2 types of rooms:

- STANDARD (community bathrooms and shower facilities): GEC residence
- COMFORT (9sqm renovated studios with balcony and private bathroom): Boudonville residence (same studios than the one you can see at 0:50 on the video) for an additional 50€ per week. NEW: couples can request EXTRA COMFORT double bedrooms in a pavilion situated in the park of the Monbois residence (limited number of rooms, additional 100€ per week).
Please note that the prices indicated in these links do not apply to you. Housing is already included in the price of your stay. These links only list the different services that are offered.

Bed linens are provided for you but you should bring your own bath towels. You will receive an internet account which will grant you access both in your residence and on campus

On campus, you will take advantage of a cafeteria meeting-place where you can learn about program events and read newspapers and magazines. Laundry facilities are also located in every residence.

In order to facilitate your stay in Nancy, you will be allowed to stay in your room starting June 29th and until July 27th without extra additional cost (except meals outside the period of the Summer Courses, before July 1st and after July 26th)

In a room at the residence
Your breakfast is served in the cafeteria of each residence, while lunch and dinner are served in the university restaurant nearby. Those students who have made other housing arrangements may still purchase tickets for the university restaurant. Please be advised that the university restaurant is closed on weekends and on July 14th, the National Holiday.

Meals are provided by the program during our excursions (except the Great Excursion of the 1st weekend and the trip to Paris on the 3rd weekend).

It is possible to be hosted in a selected host family (information available upon request).

PLEASE NOTE: we have a limited number of host families. Priority goes to students under 17 (COMFORT fee: additional 50€ per week).
