Liliane Magnien. I hold both a doctorate in French language and literature as well as a masters in philosophy. I have taught literature and philosophy at the secondary level and am now teaching at the Université de la Culture permanente. I have been participating in the Cours d’Eté in Nancy since 2013.

Philippe Bruant. I hold a doctorate in Geography and am a passionate teacher, lecturer and guide of my city, Nancy. I spent my entire childhood and my teen years on Place Stanislas. In addition to all of that, I am a tour group leader for forts located around Toul as well as for a number of major battlefields of the First World War. I have also written a number of books about that conflict.
Last publication : La Bataille du Grand Couronné, Editions Gérard-Louis, 2014, and Mes guerres en culottes courtes Place Stanislas, Editions Gerard Louis, 2018. I have been participating in the Cours d’Eté in Nancy since 1998.

Gilles Losseroy. Director of the Cours d'Été : I hold a doctorate in French language, literature and culture, and a certificate in Educational Media-FFL (CAREL, Royan). I teach Performance Studies at Université de Lorraine and direct a theatre company called La Mazurka du Sang Noir. I run theatre workshops for highschools and universities around the world, eg Russia, Brazil, Indonesia, Germany. I have designed an integrative approach using theatre in the teaching of French, and put it in practice each year in the theatre workshop of the Cours d'été. I started teaching French grammar and literature in the Cours d'été in 1988.

Charles McCreary. I have been a professor of French (language, literature and culture) at Indiana University of Pennsylvania for more then 30 years. My areas of interest include French literature of the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. I have been accompanying American students to the Cours d’Eté in Nancy since 1989 and am now teaching the translation course. The City of Nancy rewarded my fidelity in 2019 by giving me its Golden Medal.

Noémie Valerio. I hold a Master’s degree in Modern Letters and a Master’s degree in Classical Letters, and pursued a bilingual curriculum in French and English.
I have taught French, FLE and FLS in different schools.
Since 2018, I am a trainer and a teacher at the Greta (Education for Adults) in Nancy. I work for the French Office for Immigration and Integration (OFII) in the FLE, and also teach literature in high school.
I have been participating in the Cours d’Eté in Nancy since 2017.

Quentin Boisson. I hold a Master's degree in Didactics of Languages with a specialization in the teaching and training of French as a foreign language, as well as a Bachelor's degree in English LLCER (Foreign and Regional Languages, Literatures and Civilizations) 2022, and have been part of the summer courses teaching team since 2022. At the same time, I work for GRETA Lorraine center, a training organization, where I teach French and English to a variety of learners. My exchange year in the United States at Harbor High School in Santa Cruz, California, in 2016 was an exceptional experience that not only strengthened my language skills, but also broadened my intercultural understanding.
